Blue Gold Tournament | U11, U13, U15, VARSITY | July 16,17,18

This weekend all TeamTiger teams will be participating in Hofstra University’s Blue/Gold Tournament. This is a big tournament, with over 160 teams from all over the east coast. The tournament takes place in 3 locations with over 50 fields. The locations include Hofstra University, Mitchell Field and St Paul’s School Garden City (the site of the Jay Gallagher tournament).

Schedules have been handed out (links below), but as usual, make sure you keep checking back right up to the night before your first game. Should the organizers send us more info (like field maps), we will post the link below.

Long Island Pride Fest U11/U13/U15/Varsity Tournament | July 3rd

HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY

Our fourth  TeamTiger Summer Tournament takes us to Hofstra University this Saturday July 3rd.  Links to schedule are below. The following is information was provided by the tournament directors

Fields 1-3 are on the South side of the campus(stadium side)– Field1 is Shuart Stadium, Fields 2 and 3 are the grass fields by the parking lot. U11 is playing on these fields.

Fields 4-9 are on the North Side side of the Turnpike–where the Jets practiced.  Field 7 is the field hockey turf field.  It is best to use sneakers on this field. U13, U15  and some Varsity games are on these fields.

Fields 10-13 are located at Mitchell Park.  This is not part of Hofstra University but easily accessible by car from Hofstra. Some Varsity games are on these fields.

The Long Island Lizards will be playing a home game which will be televised on ESPN.  That game will begin at 3:00 vs. the Chicago Machine.  Each player participating in the tournament will receive a ticket for the game.  Hopefully you are scheduled to be off at that time.  Parents may purchase discount tickets online at www.longislandlizards.com/pridefest.

King of the Hill U11/U13 Tournament | June 26

HALF HALLOW HILLS EAST HIGH SCHOOL

Our third U11/U13 TeamTiger Summer Tournament takes us to Half Hallow Hills East High School this Saturday June, 26.  We will have a TeamTiger Tent (look for the white tent with blue TeamTiger banner), but we encourage parents to bring additional tents, food, tables and beverages. Please be ready and at the fields 30-45 minutes before each game.

2010 TigerCamp Registration is open

2009-05-05_0545Our 5th Annual Lacrosse Camp will again feature both a boys camp and a girls camp (our 2nd year!). The boys camp will take place from Monday, July 12 through Thursday, July 15th and will feature both a half day peanuts camp for rising 2nd and 3rd graders and a full-day camp for rising 4th through 9th graders. The girls camp will take place the following week from Monday, July 19 through Thursday, July 22 and will also cater to rising 2nd through 9th graders but it will be a half day camp for all girls.

Yes, we’ve shortened the camp to 4 days this year for a number of reasons ranging from conflicting tournaments and camps to thinking a shorter camp may be a better experience. We will see and make adjustments next year, but you should know the prices have been lowered to account for the deleted day.
